AMERICAN ACADEMY LARNACA ASTRONOMY CLUB

The American Academy Larnaca Astronomy Club provides interesting activities and education in astronomy and related space sciences. It holds viewing sessions, lectures, research, trips and events for the whole school. It provides the opportunity for students to learn about the universe, how to use telescopes, and to participate in international ESA and NASA competitions. Club members give presentations on various astronomical phenomena and space related programs.

Since 2016 the KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY cooperates with the American Academy Larnaca Astronomy Club inspiring students to get involved into science and to participate in local and international projects.
